A work planner is responsible for tree and brush inventories, hazard tree inspection & evaluation, tree contractor work planning, data management, and contact with property owners / public agencies regarding planned pruning and/or removals. The ability to read and follow maps and to work independently is a must.
Qualifications: ISA certification is a plus, or must be able to obtain within one year from hire date. We prefer candidates with a two or four year degree in a related field such as Forestry, Arboriculture, Horticulture, Biology and/or Environmental Sciences. Related work experience of three or more years will be considered. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and level of experience. A pre-employment drug screening and a valid clean driver’s license is a condition of employment.
